Melissa Mesones-Ortiz is currently earning her Bachelor’s in Human Services from Elizabethown College’s School for Continued and Professional Studies (SCPS). With plans to go to law school next, she recently completed a virtual internship with The Washington Center (TWC).
The summer 2020 program was moved online due to COVID-19. But the part-time schedule and remote work allowed Melissa to participate in the program from home, while continuing her roles as a mom, worker and student.
